Do Flamin Hot Cheetos Hurt You

chocolate pie and banana

For the anniversary of my Twig, we have put together a fabulous chocolate cake and banana. It was a resounding success.

Here is the recipe (taken from Blog Amuse Bouche ).

Ingredients for 8:
  • A pure shortbread butter
  • 250 g dark chocolate
  • 180 ml of liquid whipping cream
  • 60 ml banana nectar
  • 5-6 bananas
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
Preparation:


Line a pan with the dough and set it to cook white (10 minutes 180 ° C for me, having pricked with a fork.)


Once cooled, prepare the ganache: Bring the cream to a boil and pour in half over the chocolate and banana nectar. Mix well then add the remaining cream. Mix again. You must obtain a homogeneous and smooth ganache. Pour on the pie shell and let cool, then place in a cool 1 hour min.


Melt butter in large skillet and carefully place the sliced bananas. Sprinkle with vanilla sugar and when golden, turn them. The cooking must be on high heat to quickly brown the bananas without overcooking the risk of making mashed potatoes.


Place a plate on time to cool and place them on the frozen ganache.
